Minimum Order for Free Delivery
We require a minimum fish order of $200.00 for FREE delivery to the locations listed below . Other products can not be combined to a fish order to meet the $200.00 minimum. However, turtles and mosquito fish can be combined towards your $200.00 order, as long as they are permitted in your state of residence.See below for restrictions in our local delivery areas. Fuel surcharge may be applied.
Free Delivery Areas
Currently our FREE delivery areas are Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Some areas of Michigan, Illinois, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania are also free delivery, while some areas are not. Please call our hatchery to find out if your pond's location will qualify for free delivery before placing your order to avoid confusion on pricing. Any orders placed outside of our free delivery areas will be subject to a delivery charge per mile past our delivery areas limits.Fish Restrictions
Please follow these guidelines when placing your order. We are required by law to follow these fish restrictions in our local delivery areas.
- Kentucky- No yellow perch
- Illinois- No amur (grass carp)
- Michigan- No amur (grass carp), hybrid striped bass, mosquito fish
- Pennsylvania- No tadpoles, turtles, frogs, mosquito fish, and redear sunfish. Amur (grass carp) must have a permit. Please contact Jones Fish Hatcheries for a copy of the permit.
- West Virginia- No Koi. Amur (grass carp) you must contact WV DNR at 304-558-2771 to get permit.
- Virginia- No hybrid striped bass, amur (grass carp), or mosquito fish.
- Indiana- No Turtles. Amur (grass carp) are DELIVERY ONLY.
Amur (grass carp) Restrictions
- Indiana- Delivery only (not available for pick up at our facilities)
- Pennsylvania- must have a permit from the state to pick them up or have delivered
