Proper pond fertilization can increase your fish production and prevent most nuisance aquatic weed growth. This self dispensing 18-46-0 pond fertilizer provides the nutrients for phytoplankton. A healthy phytoplankton bloom can keep sunlight from penetrating more than 18"–24" deep, eliminating light needed for aquatic weed growth.
Maintaining a phytoplankton bloom, the base of the food chain, can also increase fish yields. It is recommended to use a pond aerator during a fertilizer application. Pond fertilizer is not for sale in California, Wisconsin, or Florida.
