A free air windmill can effectively aerate up to a one-acre pond (15' deep) with as little as a 5 mph wind! As the blade spins, air is drawn to the direct drive diaphragm compressor and forced through 3/8" airline down to a single 8" diffuser on the pond bot-tom (40' maximum depth). Automatic overspeed protection is standard. CAUTION: This type of aeration system is only recommended in locations where you have CONSTANT wind. Our biologists advise you to operate this system only during the winter months, unless you have a CONSTANT 5 mph or greater wind speed. The galvanized steel windmill package includes a 12', 16', or 20' tall frame, wide stance base, mounted diaphragm compresor, 12-blade 65" diameter rotor, 100' airline, diffuser assembly and complete instructions. The freeze control option helps to prevent airline freeze-up (ethanol is not included). This package ships motor freight. One year warranty.
