Arrowhead (Sagittaria latifolia) bare root

Arrowhead is a native plant that produces large arrow shaped green leaves. Initial spring growth begins in late May or early June. Small, 3-petaled white flowers containing a yellow center grow on a central stalk in July-August. Plants can reache heights of 1-4’, with leaves ranging from narrow to wide and to 10” long. Arrowhead provides shade at pond edges and prevents bank erosion. It prefers full sun but will tolerate shade. Plant in still water with no more than 3-6” of water over top of container. Fertilize regularly during the growing season.
