Horsetail Bamboo (Equisetum hyemale)
Horsetail lends a tropical bamboo effect to the pond, and is winter hardy. It prefers still, shallow, sandy areas.
Horsetail grows in dense, upright stands. Its slim, dark green jointed stems grow to a height of 3’. Divide spring to fall, plant in very shallow water up to 1” over the planting container. Horsetail bambooo tolerates partial sun to partial shade.
