This EPA registered granular algaecide is a safe and effective method of control for a broad range of troublesome bottom based algae. Treated water is safe for swimming and irrigation alike. Apply Cutrine-Plus Granular at a rate of 60 lbs. per surface acre to effectively treat all types of bottom growing algae, specifically chara, and nitella. Spot treatment is also very effective with this product due to its high visibility under water. Slow release granules provide up to 5.5 weeks of algae control.
