ALGIMYCIN - PWF is an acidified copper based algaecide. Water treated with Algimycin - PWF can be used for swimming, domestic use, livestock watering and turf irrigation. Also, fish can be caught and consumed immediately after Algimycin - PWF application. Algimycin - PWF is effective in hard water applications, and can be applied at a rate of 2 gallons per acre-foot for existing planktonic/cyanobacteria or filamentous algae, and 2-3 gallons per acre-foot for chara and nitella.
