Designed for more complicated aeration needs.
Similar in concept to our CPA-1 and CPA-2 diffused aeration systems, the CPA-3 and CPA-4 systems are designed for larger or more complicated aeration needs. These two systems operate with a 3/4 hp, rotary vane compressor with a pressure relief valve and an appropriate multiple outlet gang-valve assembly to provide for operation of 2 to 5 four-stone aeration templates simultaneously. This compressor is dual voltage capable, operating on either 115 volt drawing 12 amps or 230 volt drawing 7 amps (specify at time of order). The compressor and associated gang-valve assembly are mounted into a ground-based steel cabinet which also includes power receptacle, ventilation fan and sound reducing foam lining. The exterior of the cabinet is painted avocado green to blend with surrounding vegetation, and has an integrated lock for security of components. Cabinet dimensions are approximately 24" length, 15" width and 16" high with 3" bottom clearance. Electrical service supply line will need to be connected directly to the internal receptacle, while 2 to 5 separate airlines emerge from the underside of the cabinet lead-ing to the lake. Our standard 1/2" polyethylene airline is used to connect each four-stone aeration template with each gang-valve assembly outlet. Placement of the separate four-stone aeration templates into the lake is highly dependent upon specific lake characteristics such as surface area, variation in depths and shape.
