This diet directly treats fish infected with internal parasites such as flagellates, trematodes and cestodes (i.e. hexamita, spironucleus, intestinal worms, tapeworms and nematodes). Fish weakened by stress due to fungal, bacterial or parasitic infections become very susceptible to lethal secondary infections. An anti-parasitic diet may prevent a stressed fish from further infection. Feed exclusively for 3 consecutive days a week for 4 weeks. Do not use other foods during these 3 day periods. Feed 1 or 2 times daily as much as the fish will eat. This product will not cloud the water as many other specialty fish foods will.
