This lake dye colors the water an attractive aqua blue. The blue tint filters out certain wavelengths of sunlight, preventing the photosynthesis process and growth in some types of aquatic vegetation. Applications should be made in early spring and are most effective in waters deeper than 3 feet. Water treated with AquashadeŽ may be used for fishing, swimming, and irrigation immediately after an application. One gallon of AquashadeŽ will treat up to 4 acre-feet of water.
